In July 2019, I had decided enough was enough. I was miserable with how I looked and felt. I was watching my friends transform before my eyes. They were losing weight and getting healthy while I remained unhappy. I tried running on my own but without anyone to hold me responsible I could never seem to stay on any sort of routine. I spoke with a friend of mine who told me about CrossFit several months prior so I decided it was my time. I met with Coach Stephanie and she offered me exactly what I was looking for a meal plan that was easy to follow, accountability, and a lifestyle change not just a temporary fix. I didn’t get unhealthy overnight so this is not going to be an overnight fix. There was no sugar coating what I was getting into and I appreciated the honesty. Since July I have lost 18 pounds and I feel incredible. I am healthier, stronger, and have a ton more energy. I love what CrossFit Kaneohe has done for me and recommend them because you will see results. ~ Jenna

I started CrossFit Kaneohe Oct. 2018 because I had to admit to myself that what I was doing wasn't workin. My fitness sporadic and nutrition was horrible and I needed help. I joined their 6wk challenge and never looked back and I've lost weight, lost body fat and gained muscle. I have more energy, I sleep better, I eat better and my clothes fit better. Yes I was slightly intimidated and nervous when I started. Yes I looked around and was like wow I could never do that (whatever my "that" was). CrossFit Kaneohe isn't a gym, it's a family. I joined CFK (CrossFit Kaneohe) in June 2023 when I was brand new to the island, knew no one, and fresh off an injury. I wasn’t “ready” to start working out again but knew I needed something to get me out of my house & off my ass. From the very beginning they treated me like family. I wasn’t brand new to CrossFit, having trained for a few months at a mainland gym regarded as one of the best, but CFK bests them in every way that matters - community, quality of programming, dedication of members and coaches to name a few. CFK lives the idea that CrossFit is for everyone. I don’t look or perform like the stereotypical CrossFit athlete, but the coaches here have met me where I was at every step and pushed me to improve every day. There is truly no ego in this gym; even the most accomplished athletes (the ones that make you go “holy shit how is that possible”) have been supportive and encouraging. Everyone here truly roots for each other and wants to see each other succeed, whatever that looks like for you. If you’re looking to get stronger and fitter mentally and physically, please walk in the door, even if you think you’re not ready or can’t do it. 28 lbs later I’m feeling good and so blessed to have been a part of this gym. I’v been praying for a major change in my life and man was this a change for me. I'm a martial artist and done a lot of weight lifting on top of my demanding job being in construction so I’ve always been active but CrossFit has given me what I’v been lacking.

This gym isn’t just about the workout your instructors actual care about what you’re doing outside the gym with your eating habits. They are incredibly invested in your journey and want you to be successful. The workouts will fulfill your fitness goals but it’s the people, everyone in this gym cares that you’re on the right path that you’re pushing yourself. I was in no shape in my mind that I could actually do CrossFit but after finding CrossFit Kaneohe they erased ALL THOSE FEARS. They guide you, push you and genuinely want the best for you! This place is amazing with the best people! I appreciate safety and form, and ALL the coaches stress the importance of this at every class while making corrections as needed! I participated in their “6 Week Challenge” and loved the results! Even my “skinny” clothes fit me loose! I’m so happy and would do it again in a heartbeat! The people (both coaches and members) are nice and very welcoming, along with motivating, and they never make you feel out of place, even as a newbie 😅 it’s a nice community that I’m very happy to be a part of! Very fun and family oriented gym that helps you to become fitter and healthier. I've been coming here for the past 6 months and I'm kicking myself for not coming sooner. Before I came I was kinda worried about whether or not this style of training was "for me" and, I'm regretting having those fears/doubts for so long. I joined CrossFit Kaneohe for a 6 week challenge back in June. Everyone from the coaches to the other members were welcoming, and made me feel comfortable. I’ve always been hesitant on joining a gym like this because I don’t lift as heavy as most people, but I’ve never felt out of place at this gym. The coaches are great! And have no problem explaining a movement if you have a questions. I would definitely recommend this gym! ~ Sabrina

I had started with the 6 week challenge and I've been loving it ever since. With the support of my husband (who cooked all my food!), friends, and family I was able to start living a healthier and better lifestyle. Steph, Bucky, Natalie, Will, and all of the coaches are amazing and not only make you feel comfortable and welcomed but push you to be a better you. I had lost a total of 11.5lbs and 3% body fat in my 6 week challenge and I can't wait to crush the goals that I have set up for myself with the help of CrossFit Kaneohe. The hardest part is getting to the gym, once you're there you're in good hands. If you're skeptical, don't be! Just come! Everyone is there to help each other and be each other's hype man. ~ Renee
I enrolled in the 6 week challenge, excited but petrified because I'm older (43), fatter, and slower than the rest of the people I saw there... 6 weeks later, I'm still older, fatter, and slower than the rest of them, but I'm thinner and faster than I was 6 weeks ago. I lost 16 pounds and I followed the program... 3 classes per week and ate off the meal plan only. No supplements. I think I could have lost more had I not done the bare minimum and maybe added some quality supplements.
The gym/box itself is great. They have everything needed to engage in the workouts. The people at the gym are motivating, kind, welcoming, and never judgmental. The coaches are incredible... They go take time to explain every movement so no one feels lost. They know how to help you scale in case a movement is too advanced. They push and praise you regardless if you're doing a scaled movement or the the regular. The workouts are hard, but they are in short bursts.
If I can do it... You can. You're not too fat, too slow, or too out of shape. Everything is made to fit your ability level mixed with what is needed to help you progress. I finally realized that if I want to look and perform like the athletes at the gym, I have to train like them and eventually I will reach my own peak level of fitness. ~ Christina
I joined CrossFit Kaneohe with a six-week challenge group. Everyone came together with one purpose, to make positive changes in their lives and bodies. This led to a good environment of newbies surrounded and supported by many who have come before us as well as knowledgeable and friendly staff. I only got to spend 3 weeks with CrossFit Kaneohe and I absolutely loved it! The members were so welcoming and the coaches were so kind. They encouraged me and pushed me beyond what I thought I could do in such a caring way. If you’re stopping by while in town visiting or you just moved here looking for a new gym, this is it! I can’t wait to come back again!
