Body Composition Analysis
How are you tracking your fitness progress?
Weight loss can be an important method in trying to live a healthier lifestyle, but your bathroom scale might be misleading you. The key to effective weight loss is losing excess body fat, not overall body weight. Weight loss is not the same as fat loss.
Ditch the scale.
Your weight is made up of muscle, fat, and water. Weight loss is not the same as fat loss. Instead of tracking how heavy you are, use body composition analysis to track how healthy you really are.
Body composition analysis is key.
Body composition analysis refers to measuring your body composition, generally known as your body muscle, fat, and water. Our InBody 570 Body Composition Report provides extensive data relevant to body composition that can be used to efficiently lose fat, dial in your nutrition, identify muscle deficiencies and more.

• Visceral Fat Level and more!
Body Composition Analysis
The body weight is the sum of Body Fat Mass and Lean Body Mass, which is composed of Dry Lean Mass and Total Body Water. Total Body Water is the sum of Intra-cellular Water and Extracellular Water – and is used as an indicator of body inflammation. Extracellular Water is the total amount of water outside the body’s cell. Maintain a balanced body composition to stay healthy.
Muscle-Fat Analysis
Compare the bar lengths of Skeletal Muscle Mass and Body Fat Mass. The longer the Skeletal Muscle Mass bar is compared to the Body Fat Mass bar, the stronger the body is. Skeletal Muscle Mass is the Amount of Muscle attached to the bones. Body Fat Mass is the sum of the subcutaneous fat, visceral fat, and fat surrounding muscles. Subcutaneous fat is found beneath the skin, while visceral fat is found surrounding internal organs in the abdomen.
Obesity Analysis
BMI: Body Mass Index is used to generally determine obesity by using height and weight, however it can mask your risk for serious health issue because BMI can’t tell the difference between muscle mass and fat.
PBF: Percent Body Fat is the percentage of body fat compared to body weight.
Body Composition History
Your data can be stored within our system providing a historical track record of your progress. The Body Composition History automatically tracks some of the most important body composition metrics. This makes it really easy to identify trends over time and lets you know if what you are doing is working or if you need to make any changes.
